Prismess BEAM is a Los Angeles-born and based producer and DJ creating compelling electronic landscapes and percussive yet thoughtful compositions. Synthesizer textures with analog beats create moments of emotion, exploration and evolution. She draws on electronica, avant-garde, futurism and nature for inspiration to imagine worlds of transcen-dance. Most recently, she was commissioned to produce new and original music for The Hammer's Made in L.A. annual exhibition via Los Angeles Contemporary Archive installation "break room." She was commissioned for original music for an augmented reality collaboration with LACMA x Snapchat by Kang Seung Lee; selected to appear in a Roland advertisement for new instrument release S-1 AIRA; interviewed for a 2-hour guest special on KXLU Loyola Marymount radio by host 55 Shades of Blue; her single “Magnetik” was selected for Feminist Synth Lab Community Compilation FSL-001; published multiple guests DJ mixes on dublab radio and two of her singles were selected for dublab Sounds of Now; performed live DJ sets for Vellum LA NFT gallery openings in the Melrose District of Los Angeles, including Jimmy Edgar.
